The Golden Bird, .away running and well handled, wore down Rusklnetta after rounding the stretch turn and won going away. Ruskhietta showed the most early speed and held on well in the final drive. Woolen ran a fairly good race and was going fast at the end. Sadie Gay closed a gap and went well in the last quarter. Banellen tired badly through the stretch. Glassfull closed a big gap from a poor beginning and would have been second in a few more strides. Clover Hampton ran a fairly good race and was knocked about considerably. Arachnc was going fast at the end. Labor ran a dull race and can do much better. Oro Viva quit badly in the stretch. Dod Anderson tired after going a Iiait and ran a bad race. Queen Caroline, away running, quit in the stretch after showing the most early sieed. Miltiades showed good form and, under careful handling, lasted well. Meadowbreeze was right there all the way and ran a good race. The letting foreshadowed Funiculaires and Lady Esthers bad races.
