Yada, improved and about due, ran forwardly throughout and earned an easy third. A. Muskoday, away very badly, closed a big gap and was easing up at the end. Red Light, badly messed about and interfered with, can do better. Sir Ralph got away badly, made up ground steadily and also can do better. Molesey, from a good start, worked through an early rough journey and came along on the outside with i rush into a good lead, but tired and finally barely won from Beaucleres serious challenge at the end. Beauclere, away slowly, closed up ground steadily and, in a belated end rush, just failed to get up and is a good colt. Acrobat displayed superior speed and stamina and was a keen contender to the final sixteenth. Judge Davey forced the pace to the last furlong, where he tired badly and is best in mud. Hig-ginbotham was shuttled to the rear early and made up considerable ground afterwards. Ted, away very oadly, closed a big gap and ran a good race. Woolstartle failed to stay and can do better. Athlete was skillfully reserved in the early running, moved up only when straightened for the stretcli run and made good right at the end in decisive style. Hot Toddy was rushed into a long lead and, after injudiciously setting a terrific pace for a mile, succumbed eventually to the lightly weighted winner, but ran a grand race. Cressina essayed to nead Hot Toddy in the early running and quit badly at the end. Rye, on the inside and badly messed about and shut off twice in the first half, ran up quickly on the last turn and the effort tired him at the end of a good race. Orilene appeared dry and dull before the race and was never a serious contender. Lindale, in hand, ran well v.p from the start and appeared dangerous midway of the stretch, but tired right at the end. Angler unexpectedly failed to stay after running forwardly for seven furlongs and ran a bad race. Banker, under the whip from the. start and almost unable to hold his position, finished very fast, wants a longer race and is becoming good. Ostrich is in very bad form. Deuce, much the best, ran in close attendance on the pacemaker to the last turn, where he bolted to the outside, losing a half dozen lengths, then quickly ranged alongside the leader and could never quite get up after suffering from the most persistent interference. Water-bearer ran forwardly throughout and finished like a shot in a superior effort. Markie Mayer ran moderately well for six furlongs. The others were beaten off all the way and How About You ran a particularly bad race.
