Proof That Kent Owned Round Dance and That He Rode Susannah When His Own Horse Won. l.os Angeles, CaL, January 85.- lackey Kent, the real owner, and C. Morion, tke alleged owner of tkn horse Bound Dance, were ruled off the tin i at Ascot Park today. Judge Hamilton lias been prosecuting; an investigation of this case for some time and ha says it was proved conclusively that jockey Kent la the sole owner of Bound Dance and he hail been riding other horses in races in which his own karsa ran. The first intimation of Kents ownership came to the judges after tlie rai-e on January X, in which. Kent rode Susannah third to Round Dance. Susannah was the second choice. She made the pace into tke stretch where she s eiiiingly tired, though many believed that she was deliberately restrained. .Tudgej Hamilton says that C. Morton did not have any interest in the horse and only permitted his nanio to be used at the bajkead of Kent. Preston was not allowed to ride Tartan in the handicap today, beeaase he Is under contract to Jim Curl and Curl had Chimney Sweep In the saino race. The judges suggested three different jockeys to owner Brolaski. but he refused to accept any of them and withdrew Tartan. C. Kserner left tonight for San Francisco, whero he rides Kercheval — well liked by local horsemen — ■ in the Burns Handicap.
