Guy Mannering, on the outside, came wide into the Stretch and. finishing; with a rush, won going away. Clifton Boy went away in the lead and won going well at the finish. Simplicity ran a fairly good race only and was tiring at the end. Margaret M. finished close up and going well. OM Guard was cut off on the backstretch and pulled up. 1ort Worth stumbled at the start and Englander fell off. The winner was in for S400- no bid. Overweights— Mereea, 1 pound: Preetorius, 2i. Lady Navarre ran under restraint until well around the far turn, where she moved up with a mail on ix.-outside took the lead alter entering the homestretch and won easing up. St. Valentine was crowded back at the slart and as goad as left at the post, but dosed a big gap after working his vay up on the extreme outside, came very wide on the turn for home and finished gamely under the whip. Elfall was off fully in motion, sprinted to the front quickly and set the pace for five furlongs, but lived i:i the stretch run. Pinsticker closed a gap and finished gamely. Mania followed Enighton closely, but was carried wide on the stretch turn by the tatter and tired in the final drive. Cypscne was moving up fast next to the inside rail, when she stumbled and went to her knees at the three-eighths post and this put her out of the struggle. The winner was tillered for .S400: no bid.
