Gotdfoil was Impeded and crowded back in the stretch but came like 1 shot when clear aad would bare been third in another stride, sweet taire eloaed ■ leg gap and finished fast and eloae up. Berkeley from a good start went into the lead quickly and drawing far away on the turn appeared an easy winner but tired in the final furloug and barely lasted long enough to win. Tileing was close up from the start and linishing with a rush would have won in a few more strides. Campaigner was outrun in the earlv stages but finished fast and resolutely. Tim OToole followed the winner closely to the stretch and tired in the tinal drive. Killochan ran poorly. Molesey was always a distant trailer, ran far below his true form and bis race should be thrown out. The winner was entered for 00: no hid.
