LEXINGTON MEETING OPENS TODAY. Good Card — Five Kentucky Derby Candidates in Third Race — Much Local Interest. Lexington, Ky.. April 26. — The spring meeting of the Kentucky Association begins tomorrow and conditions are Haltering. There is a better lot of horses here this spring than in years past and the fact that all six of the races have attracted large fields shows that a majority of the horses here are lit and ready to race. The card for the opening day is attractive enough to warrant the assertion that Home good sport is in store for Lexington racegoers. There is a lot of local interest in the meeting. All the boxes have lieen spoken for and all that Is necessary to make the opening an auspicious one is fine weather. Colonel Matt J. Wiun aud Judge Charles Price arrived from Louisville this afternoon, while starter Jake Holtmau is expected in tonight. All the oilier officials are on the ground. Judge Price will be assisted in the stand by J. If. I amden. Jr.. and W. U.
