Pit aae was off worse and also gave a great display of speed and stamina. Snakewood finished well. Mehsar and Citizen showed early sliced but both quit badly iu the final .drive. Cairngorm, fresh and in good form, was a game anil torward contender most of the way and a fast going third. Philander closed a huge gap from la -t place on the backatretch and ran a grand race. Okenite finished close up and gaining fast. W. Jr. Carey was knocked hack honaleaaly in the early action and made up much ground. Bon Diego was well up to the stretch but tired in the final furlong. Kings Daughter was a fast going contender when she was knocked to the fence on the second turn. iood Link was bumped against the fence on the first turn.
