PLENTY OF HORSES AT HAMILTON. Hamilton, Out.. June i. — Many liorses ere arriving at the local trail; from Toronto. I.oudsville and r.allimore and ahead] nearly half of the- stalls at the track an occupied. other ernnjen who have been racing at the Woodbine will ship to Hamilton tomorrow, hut the majorit- of them Wtfij remain in Toronto until Monday morning. Beery stall at the local track and eveiy stahle within a radius of a mile of the track lias been allotted and Secretary Loudon has been forced to return a number of applications for stalls li r want of accommodations, li is the intention to Jtuild a coujde more big stables this suuitner. Tie mot-ling will open Tuesday and if file fine weather continues, it is going to be the best meeting ever held in Hamilton. The Hamilton Derby, a new feature this year, will hring together Home ot the best three year olds that have been racing al Toronto and some good ones from Louisville ;ind other places. Of the eight or nine probable st:ttters Tourenne seems to have tin- best chance, Imt there are many who believe that Old Honesty. Main Chance or oue of the others will take the measure of the Kirkfield Stable crack. William Murray, who will do the starting; arrived from New Orleans this morning. J. J. Burke will be the presiding judge and Hon. J. S. Heuidrie steward.
