Alencon closed up again under the whip, shook off Anna Smith in the last eighth and finished fast. Bonnie Reg closed a: ldg gap from a slow beginning and ran an impressive race. Anna Smith was prominent In the stretcli, but ipiit under punishment. Chief Hayes finished well, but can do better. The winner was entered for 00; no hid.
