MISS ALERT TO GO IN LATONIA OAKS. Detroit, Mich., June 2S. There was a good crowd at Windsor today, but the sport was poor and in a betting way, the results were unsatisfactory. Only one favorite managed to win. The greatest disappointments were the defeat of the heavily backed La Gloria in the first race and Fantastic in the third. The excellent race of Miss Alert puts her In line as a starter in the Latonia Oaks next week. Trainer Bellew has been going slow with the filly and her good showing today has fully decided liim to ship her to Latonia. Fantastic, because of her poor race today, may not be shipped to Latonia. Ed Trotter claimed La Gloria out of Jhe first race for ,175. Jockey Kunz was fined 5 and J. Murphy drew a fine of 0 for disobedience at the post today.
