SCHUYLER WINS HIS FIRST START. At Maisons Laflitte last Friday W. K. Vanderbilt won the first big two-year-old event of the season with Schuyler, a colt by .Meddler Harmonica, by Hanover. Harmonica was purchased by Mr. Vanderbilt at the Whitney dispersal sale in New York in October, 1901, and Schuyler was foaled in France. It was his first start, lie was named for Schuyler L. Parsons of New York, who is a member of tins Jockey Club.
