Marvel P. reveled iu the stiff going, took the lead soon after the start and was never seriously menaced. Refined was allowed to race along at a leisurely pace, finished fast and can do much letter. Hyperbole Is showing steady improvement, ran well and finished gamely. Kleinwood was in trouble from the start and suffered from much interference. Martius was caught in a jam and almost thrown soon after the start. Zelina rau a bad race. Minnehaha tired badly iu the last quarter. Plaud ran away before the start. Melzar tired fast after going a half and bore out badly iu the stretch ran. Linda Lake came from a long way back iu the last quarter, finished with a rush and would have been second in another stride. Katheriue Murphy ran fairly well and but for being In the heaviest going in the last furlong would have been much closer up. Ansonia ran a good race from a poor send-off. Lexington Lady tired after being prominent for a half. Blackloek, showing Improved form, fenced and ran well and finished gamely. Sam Hoffheimer made several attempts to wear the leader down in the first round but tired fast in the stretch. Class Leader was given a bad looking ride and swerved all over the track in the stretch run and, if kept straight in the last quarter, would probably have been seeond Pete A inegar lost Ids rider at the first jump.
