Heather Scott was luckily and forwardly placed from the start and drew out decisively in the last sixteenth. Crystal AVave ran prominently throughout and finished a fast going second. Bravonre broke slowly, but steadily improved her position into a game third. Harvel, from a Hying start, ran into a wide lead and threatened to spreadeagle the others, but quit midway of the stretch and bolted to the extreme outside. Nabonassar, after forward pursuit of the leaders throughout, was carried out m the stretch turn b3 Chancellor AValworth, losing several lengths, then failed to get up, but was best today. Benvolio, in a good inside position in the early running, finished with a cyclonic, but belated, rush. Byronerdale made the running easily for seven furlongs, then tired and will improve. The Captain held fcrtli in the rear until too late for a fast finish to avail any tiling. Sahara, nearly left, closed a big gap. Chancellor AValworth was fast, but bolted and lost his chance. Iras, away slowly, trailed early, then closed an immense gap in a cyclonic finish. Itedwood II. set the pace for a half mile and succumbed, but held on gamely for third place. Rotnui loomed up well at the end of six furlongs and then retired as If short, but ran a good race and will do to watch. Mendon, nearly left, made up much ground. Rhinock showed speed, but failed to stay and proha bly was short. Little Joker ran out on the turn and got away slowly. Huston ran a bad race. Tancred showed speed. Areil broke slowly and made a wide first turn, but closed up when turning into the backstretch, then challenged and passed the pacemaker on the last turn, but was tiring at the end. .Taneta, well up through out, fell back on the last turn, then came like a shot at the end after having been waited with tix lon. Johnny Lyons got into third position early and stayed there, finishing a fast going third under a bad ride. J. C. Clem, prominent for the first half, dropped back and then came again with a rush. Mark Antouv II. quickly established a big lead and set a tremendous pace for seven furlongs, then weakened. Conigun is strictly a mudlark. Neugent forced the early pace and took the lead, but went wide on the turn, allowing the winner to slip through and failed to get up afterwards. Native Son, away poorly, closed up rapidly and was prominent for live furlongs, then tired. Ray Bennett steadily improved his position. Silver Stocking showed superior early speed and tired badly in the stretch. Couio showed early speed, but was crowded back on the far turn and has done fast work.
