Firebrand dashed into the lead at once and, opening a long lead, set the pace throughout, but was tiring badly at the end and barelv won. Eminola, away well, got into nearest pursuit after going a quarter , mid in a game finish, almost got up. Umbrella was favored by the going and ran a good race for her. , Aiken made up ground and finished gamely. High Jumper closed a big gap steadily. The latter ran into the lead quickly and set the pace nearly all t e wav, but was disqualified for fouling" the winner. Orfano closed a huge gap and was best, but was shut off at a critical point by Omnipotent and Tenakoe. Bobbin Around and Alary Holland showed speed, b.i tired in the stretch drive.
