H. P. WHITNEYS STABLE WINNINGS. Although second in the list of winning owners, Mr. H. P. Whitney won this year through his good horses an aggregate for any owner to be proud of, sufficient to give him first place in an average year. His best contributor was his crack two-year-old filly, Stamina, a worthy daughter of the peerless Endurance by Right. Next to her as a money gatherer was the Lawrence Realization winner,. Dinna Ken, really an excellent race horse, but decidedly not a fortunate one. Pauinonok was the prize disappointment of the stame and far from repaying the 1,000 Mr. Whitney gave for him at auction the- year previous. Baby Wolf, Bar None and Royal Tourist were all more than useful contributors and if all goes well with him, the latter colt will probably prove one of the best three-year-olds of 190S.
