Shannon sold three of his horses at New Orleans last Saturday. Brimmer was bought by A. Siueiis for IfrUJ", Calvin was sold to C. .1. Brock miller for 8j8J and Athena to R. L. Taylor for IfSO. Emil Herz is reported to be negotiating with 1 V. E. Lemmons for Pajarotta and if the sale is made Herz says the three-year-old will be the beginning of another stable which he hopes to acquire before the Oakland season closes. H. A. Eugman has not decided whether to send 1 the yearling full brother to Herniis. which is now at the Meadows Stud, to tiie New York sale* next Mimmor or race him in his own name. He is alamt such a yearling as Herniis was at that age and his owner may decide to race him as a two-year old 1 himself, following the course he pursued with Her mis.
