WASHINGTON JOCKEY CLUB DATES. New York. January 23. — The dates for the spring meeting of the Washington Jockey Club at Penning will be announced by the stewards of the Jockey Club withiu a day or two. The management of the Beunlug track has been busy for some time pre paring the stake b« ok for the meeting ami it will lie announced shortly. This puts to rest the rectal rumors that there would not be a spriug meeting held at Benning. The rumor was probably based upon the fact that dates were not made for Ben ning at the same time dates for the metropolitan tracks were decided upou.
