Mixup was speedy and fenced well, but kept stumbling the stretch run. Jim Hut ton ran the best race he has shown through the field and was well up and a keen contender all the wav. Hotter lost one of his stirrups at the second jump and fell off after taking the fifth jump. Captain Ja.rel bolted out of the course at the fifth jump and carried McAllister out with him. Mollie Moiitrose broke slowly and wras forced to work her way tip on the outside, showed a great turn of speed on the far turn, but tired in the stretch run and kept l earing over to the outside in the last furlong.
