JOCKEY CLUB WILL SUPERVISE JOCKEYS New York April 15 At a meeting of the stew ¬ ards of the Jockey Club held yesterday afternoon in the Windsor Arcade at which were present Au ¬ gust Belmont James R Keene P K Stnrgis J II Bradford P R Hitchcock H K Knapp and Andrew Miller and at which the vicechairman James R Keene presided the following resolution was adoptedResolved adopted Resolved That all Jockeys holding a license from the Jockey Club be notified that their con ¬ duct and habits when absent from the race course rire under strict scrutiny and that they be also warned that the keeping of bad company will be promptly and severely punished by the stewards arid It Is further resolved that a copy of the above resolution be sent to each jockey and to each trainer holding a license from the stewards of the Jockey Club with an explanatory note to the trainer saying that his cooperation in enforcing the above resolution Is expected by the stewards
