HUMOROUS RACING AT NEW ORLEANS The merrygoround track at New Orleans is cvl1 dently in a bad way Last Saturdays Picayune says of the racing there thereThere There was only a corporals guard at the Louis ¬ iana track yesterday The public seems to have lost all confidence in tlie track The racing has simmered down to where it is almost a joke Some of the spectators go solely for the purpose of amusement enjoying the reversals of form which occur in nearly every race The public is not win ¬ ning a cent a few sharpshooters are getting all the money and the only rpeople losing are the bookmakers who take a half interest along with Kabb and pay from 240 to 200 a day for the cutin privilege Under this handicap it is almost impossible for them to more than make expenses on a good day
