LOUISIANA RACING PROBABLY DOOMED Baton ttotigc La June 17 By a vole of 8 to 7 the senate joint judiciary committee reported the Locke antiracing bill favorably at midnight of lust night after a most sensational hearing lasting over four hours Senator Hobort OConnor had been counted for this Cordill racing bill When It came to a vote he went with the antls thereby giving thi Locke bill a favorable report by one rote The fight is now considered lost and the Locke billwill probably pass by a slight majority possibly ihfed1 or four It will be up tot engrossment tomorrow
