HORSEMEN MOVING FROM MONTREAL Montreal Que September 14 The exodus of horsemen from here began in earnest this morning and the express companies are working overtime to supply cars to transport the stock from Blue Bon ¬ nets Toronto is the principal destination for out ¬ going horsemen but the scarcity of stall room at Woodbine is forcing many to seek quarters at Hamilton where racing will follow the Toronto session In the list for Hamilton are the strings of James Bodou and Roger Minton MintonThe The Kentucky delegation consisting of T C McDowell P Dunne J U Strode Ed Corrigan II Oots L Cahn II R Baker and E Alvey will manage to ship their horses tonight and will parti ¬ cipate in the racing that begins on Saturday next at Lexington Ky P Dunne has added Gerry ¬ mander to his string The colt is still the property of L Cahn but the latter turned him over to Dunne to train trainJohn John C Ferriss Jr before departure for To ¬ ronto added the smart jumper McAllister to his string He will race him at Woodbine and Ham ¬ ilton CorriganW for Edward Corrigan W Allen who was injured by a fall from Fin MacCool in Fridays steeplechase departed Saturday night for his home in Illinois where he will re ¬ main during the time it requires for his leg to mend He will rejoin the Tompkins string at Bel ¬ mont Park where they will be shipped tonight
