NEW YORK DATES MAY BE MOVED UP Now York September 14 It is said that in order to avoid a gap of six open dates due to the fail ¬ ure of the Brighton Beach management to hold the usual fall meeting the meeting at Belmont Park would be moved forward one week with the ses ¬ sions at Yonkers Jamaica and Aqueduct similarly bundled In that way it is argued the horsemen would not be made to suffer a hardship while the closing of the eastern racing season would take place on Saturday November 7 That would give owners who intend to race in California more time in which to make tho long trip to the coast
