NEW YORK FARMERS DOUBLE PROFIT New York September 24 A steward of the Jockey Club points out that In suite of the fact that the sigricultural societies in this state will receive 225000 from the state treasury as provided lor bv the special session of tho legislature last Mav that section of the PercyGray law which tails for the payment of a five per cent tax on the gross receipts of all tracks in the state had not been repealed It was also shown by this steward that In spite of the heavy losses sustained by the tracks the tax is being collected and that the money will go to the farmers as usual
