Sister Phyllis, shuttled back soon after the start, was lorced to go wide Into the stretch, then finished gamely and was probably best. Kilvany came from a long way back in the last quarter. Point Lace was shuttled back soon after the start and closed a big gap. Wheat Bread quit after going a half. Giddy Girl showed the most early speed, but tired. Medora had a rough trip. Sea Swell showed a high flight of speed for a half, but tired near the end of a fast and game effort. Mabel Henry was gaining at the end and ran a good race. Ethelda had no mishaps and ran poorly. Gliding Belle, after being apparently badly beaten, saved ground when turning into the stretch and. wearing the others down, would have been second in a few more strides.
