SCHREIBER REINFORCES HIS STABLE. San Francisco, Cal.. December 3. Barney Schreiber has paved the way for cutting a figure in the races for the two-year-old division at his local track which, will ha Inaugurated early In the new vear. and also in the Derby and other valuable fixtures for coming three-year-olds. The big bookmaker-owner has materially strengthened his OaK-land racing establishment, the fifteen head which hxj brought to the local track prior to the opening of the meeting having been reinforced hy fourteen others wiileh have arrived from Schrelbers noled Missouri breeding establishment. Woodlanda Stock Farm. Six of these are yearlings, whose breeding would warrant the belief they will prove to be sure enough race horses. One is a colt by Bannockburn Uarda. and therefore a full brother to the hich-class stake horse. Dr. Gardner. Another is a full brother to Deutschland. being by Sain Derfargilla. There is also a brother to Seattle, which showed up well among the two-year-olds here in the early part of the vear: a colt by Sir Hercules Ohio Belle. A colt "bv Bannockburn Lizzie H.. is a half-brother to Schrelbers one-time good horse. Pinkerton, and the remaining one of the juveniles Is a filly by Bannockburn SInfi, the dam of Marion Rose. The two-vcar-olds in theJ consignment are the good colt. Dr. Holzberg. a half-brother to the erstwhile crack. Centre Shot; Dr. Meyer, a son of Sain Chaminade: the filly Salnposal; Medora. and last, but not least, a sister to Sam Hildreths useful horse. Woodcraft. The others in the consignment are the three-year-old colt, Banridge, which was one of the favorites for the Kentucky Derby last spring: the three-year-old fllly, Sainesaw. and the well-knowii old horse, Dargin.
