The latter closed up steadily In la stretch and was gaining at every stride at the finish. Momentum, off in a tangle, closed a big gap. Cloisteress quit after going three furlongs and was eased up. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights Sir Vagrant, 2 pounds; Reticent. 2J.
