RACERS ABANDON MONTGOMERY PARK. Memphis. Tenn.. April 5. — A special train carry ing more than Km thoroughbreds, including eight or ten camlidates for the Kentucky and Latonia Derbys. le-ft Meeiitgomery Park tenught for Louisville. The consignment, with the exception of two small stabb-s leaving for Piuilieo this week, leaves Mont gomery Park without runners in training for Hie first time-in thirty rears. The gates of the track are clewed to thoroughbreds for the first time since the late Colonel II. A. Montgomery, founder of the park, announcing at the time- that it iwoiild be a | er petnal home- for thoroughbreds anil their owners ami help.
