WINDSOR ANNOUNCES ITS STAKES. Detroit. Mi.-h.. April .".. — Stake events for the Highland Park Club summer meeting, which will be held at the Windsor track. July 31 to August 21. inclusive, have been announced. There are seven in all. entries for which will close May 1. The northern racing circuit opens this year at Toronto Mav 22. and the summer meeting at Wind SOT Is the fifth along the line, while the fall meet ing at Windsor will close the circuit, the dates being October 12 to October 8, inclusive. All of the stake events at Windsor will be run off during the summer meeting, as m former years: Frontier Handicap. ,000. for three-year-olds and upward. Ionchartiain Selling Stakes. ,200. for three-year-olds and upward. Ksscn Handicap. ,500. for two -vear-olds. Detroit Stakes. ,200. for two vear-olds. Ontario Handicap. ,200. for two-year-old fillies. Windsor Selling Stakes. ,500. for three -year-olds ami upward. Detroit. Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Company Handicap. ,500. for three-year olds and upward.
