GEORGE ROSE ON SANTA ANITA SITUATION Los Angeles Cal January 12 George Rose ar ¬ rived in Los Angeles last night en route from El Paso to Sail Francisco whither he goes to Investigate the success of the oral letting at Oakland track and to determine whether there will be a 1010 meeting at Santa Anita Park ParkWhether Whether we will reopen the track at Arcadia depends entirely upon what I find in the north paid Mr Hose If I discover that the oral betting system is a success and that racing can be profit ably carried on under the new laws of California we will reopen the local track A great deal de ¬ pends upon the decisions that are rendered in sev ¬ eral cases now pending in the courts
