HOLHDEL FARM CHANGES HANDS ew York February S Holmdel the famous oughbred breeding farm established at Bed Bank v T by David Gideon and John Daly was sold at nubile auction today by Joseph P Day for 50250 in Krnest W Brown of 4 West 130th street New York Mr Brown said after the sale that he made the purchase on speculation and intimated that he had DO intention of continuing the famous stud as breeding establishment establishment1bouKH i 1bouKH several horsemen were present at the sale licr were only two bidders and one successfully iilncealed his identity while Mr Brown the pur Phaser Is not known to the turf The bidding opened tb an offer of 40000 and with raises of 1000 hid it reached 50000 when Mr Brown was successful with a further raise of 250
