IMPORTANT SALE OF THOROUGHBREDS Phil T Chinn who heads the list of winning owners at Moncreif Park has decided to dispose of his entire stable preparatory to a foreign invasion Mr Chinn has been engaged to train for a prominent member of the French Jockey Club He will be accompanied to Europe by the premier jockey Vin ¬ cent Powers who has led the list of winning riders In this country for the iwst two years The stable that Mr Chinn is disposing of is made up of some of the best platers racing in this country The lot comprises the pick of those he raced last season when he finished fifth in tiic list of winning owners in America being preceded only by S C Hildrcth James K Keene II G Bedwell and Barney Schreiber The Chiun stable won 109 races last year Among the lot are the following stake winners Lady Irma winner in 1DO9 of VJC and in 1HO of 21 n uy Fisher winner of i4rM Jack Parker winner of 0715 Great Heavens winner in lima of 4300 and 2400 in 1 10 Dixie Knight winner of 21GTi in 1909 and 217 in J10 John Carroll winner of eleven races and 3840 last year and two in 1010 Crandlssimo winner of two races The Golden Butterfly winner of six races and J21tO in 1909 and one iii 1010 Sou winner of two races meetingMr at the present Jacksonville meeting Mr China used great care and judgment in the selection of the yearlings that he purchased last reason and the band of twoyearolds that he offers at this sale comprises several highclass youngsters Among the number is the only Ethelbert twoyearold that will be raced this year in this country Ho is Redwine by Kthclbert Dancing Wave by Top Gallant Tarantella the dam of eight winners in ¬ cluding Handsel and Joe Madden He is a beautiful tolt and there will be keen competition for this one IxMiis DCS Coguets is another of the stars of the sale He is a wellturned youngster by Ben Brush Coppelia which is a lialfsister to Ballot These two colts are in the following stakes 110 United States Hotel and Grand Union 1911 Brook ¬ lyn Derby Carltou Lawrence Realization and Trav trrs trrsJudge Judge Monck which is named for a wellknown jurist of Hamilton Out is an extra good looker He is by Ben Brush Early and Often which is a halfsister to Peter Pan winner of 110450 The Ben ISrtish colt out of Revelation is named for Frank Xavin owner of the Detroit Tigers He is a superior appearing colt and has the inaking of a great race horse None of these colts has been raced at Mouereif Park as Mr Chinn was saving them for the metropolitan season There are four more coltsand three fillies In the sale and all have shown enough in their trials to warrant the belief that they will be frequent winners
