HORSES RETURNING FROM JUAREZ El Paso Tex March 3 Dr T A Bray govern ¬ ment live stock inspector and custom house inspector has been kept busy inspecting race horses returning to this country from the Juarez course since its close SundayThere for this season last Sunday There were about COO horses at the Juarez course The geldings paid a duty of 23 each on entering Mexico and were returned to this country without duty The stallions and mares were admitted into Mexico without duty but had to pay an inspection fee feeThe The El Paso Times printed several columns of Interviews with the horsemen who raced at Jitarez following the close of the meeting One and all ex ¬ pressed themselves as highly pleased witii the manner In which the meeting had IMMMI conducted and with ¬ out exception enthusiastically declared that they would he back for next waiters racing regardless of what might ho offered elsewhere They laid spe ¬ cial stress upon the treatment accorded them by tho management of the new track and many of them have taken the precaution to make reservations for stalls for next season Seemingly everybody who par ¬ ticipated in the meeting of tills year lias become imbued with the idea that Juarez Is destined to b j tho winter race course of America in tho up distant future
