GOSSIP FROM KENTUCKY TRAINING GROUNDS Louisville Ky March 15 D N Prewitt who recently sold his Kentucky Derby candidate Ben K Sleet to Ed Corrigan was a recent visitor at Churchill Downs where he has some two yearolds in training in the stable of W S Hop ¬ kins He reports that trainer Joe Everman will ship his crack sprinter T M Green here from Jackson ¬ ville Fla as soon as he finds some one coming this way Mr Prewitt says he will likely mate Ever green the dam of T M Green with Filigrane the sire of the 00000 turf winner Accountant The mare will shortly foal to Dick Welles sire of last years Kentucky Derby winner Wntergreen She is a remarkable producer Her first foal was the highlytried John McAlister then she dropped T M Green and followed that up by producing that good racer Dixie Knight W S Hopkins lias a promising twoyearold colt out of her by Scintillant II in training at Churchill Downs and Mr Prewitt has a yearling at his Boyle County farm out of her by Resolute II the Australianbred horse that sired Snow Evergreen is a daughter of Ornament and is out of Tenerlne by Ten Broeck from flic family that produced Cunard sire of the California Derby winner Turret She might have made a brilliant record on the turf only she was born with a club foot and as a consequence could never be traiiiefl She is only a young matron having been foaled in 1000 S
