MOVEMENT FOR MISSOURI RACING. St. Louis. Mo.. May 17.— Barney Schrciher and associates are backing a movement to re-establish lacing in Missouri. Thev propose to submit to the voters of the state at the fall election a bill to legalize the pari-mutiiel system of betting. The bill is to be submitted through the initiative and referendum, provided a sufficient number of signatures can lie obtained. The promoters opened offices here May. from which petitions for signatures will be distributed.
