SARATOGA ON THE QUI VIVE. Saratoga, N. Y.. July 20. — Racing over the old Saratoga course will lie on next week, and with the many summer visitors already here ami arrivals dnilv all the indications are for fine sport. Tbe village has taken on an air of life earlier than usual, and the coming race meeting has all to do with this condition. Those interested in the seasons success here at the springs have planned many attractive natures for the entertainment of visitors, and there will b» much to please aside from racing, which of OUCSU wiil b the chief thing in the way of sport. R. T. Wilson. Jr.. Is her,. nBtl keeping an eve on all that looks to the puccesa of the meeting of the Saratoga Association, of which he is president. Mr. Wilson believes that it will be a bigger meeting aud that the at tendance will be greater than at any of the New York tracks this season. The association is giving neatly 9300.600 in stakes and purses to tbe horsemen, and tbis insures the presence of the best meera in training. Tbe Saratoga Association, looking to the comfort and entertainment of those who come to the Springs tbis season, will establish the Saratoga Iteadtag Room, on the line of tbe clubs at Newport and other summering places. Members of the Heading Room will have the privilege of the Saratoga clubhouse.
