BEDWELL WANTS TO SELL HIS HORSES. tibejIavBle. Ky.. July 27. — Secretary Bidweii of the Kentucky Stale Racing Commission is in receipt of an appeal from II. G. Bedwell. who is under sus-pcaauua from the turf, under the ruling of the La-Ionia Jockey Club, backed up by its indorsement by the Kentucky State Haling Commission. The Colo rado turfman still baa his big string at Latoiiia. but is at sea as to just what move to make, lie expresses himself as considering the ruling against him far from fair, in not allowing him to dispose of bis biases. It is expected that chairman Clay of the racing commission will call a meeting early in August and that the Colorado turfman will then go be-fore tin- commission to seek relief at least to the extent of getting consent to diSfksee of his stable, •with the assurance that the horses will be restored to good racing standing whenever they chaice liands. Mr. PodweH does not expect to get auv-thing like full value for his horses, but the way things have gone he is willing to make the sacri-tice and ret out of racing, though he ultimately hopes to be restored to koimJ .-, landing oU tile turf.
