* , + STATISTICS OF THE BUTTE MEETING . T The summer meeting of the Butte Jockey Club, which opened at Butte, Mont.. July 23 and came to a close August SI, embraced thirty racing days, the limit allowed by law in Montana. The distribution in purses, there being no stakes, amounted to the respectable total of 148,830, and goes to demonstrate the increasing Importance of Montana racing. The veteran turfman, Green B.
