GOSSIP FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington. Ky.. September 12. — The stallion Hermis and eight yearlings lielonging to Henry M. Ziegler have been transferred from Highland Farm to Idle Hour Farm. Hermis is lieing prepared for shipment to Prance and the yearlings are being broken by Cliff Hamnion. Trainer Charles Hughes is expected here from the east this week. King Rroomstick. Irving II. Wheaterofts promising yearling by Rroomstick — Ksteein. was today entered in the Grand Prix dC Paris to bo run at loajl hampa in 1912. Mr. Wheatcroft forwarded the entry to the French Jockey Club today. The string of John C. Ferriss. including Bettie Sue and Sea Swell, arrived at the Kentucky Association track from Canada this morning. Harry Shaw is lu re with Cliapnlll jll I and Indian Maid. John Powers is coming from Montreal with Jack Atkin and Sager. J. W. May sent Far West to the farm this afternoon. The stable of Woodford Clay, of which Ocean Hound is the star, arrived yesterday from Saratoga. The string of E. R. Bradley will leave the Spa for Lexington tomorrow. Love-Not. which finished third to Novelty and Hashti in the Futurity, will l e among the nunlber. Fred Forsythe arrived yesterday from New York. His horses are due tomorrow. The building of a forty-stall barn was completed yesterday and it will be bedded for some of the horses that are coming from Latonia during the week. C. L. Harrison, owner of Waldo, is visiting here.
