others are adding to the high quality of racing at Louisville and Baltimore and industriously contending for a share of the money yet to be Won in stakes and purses This conduces to the welfare of the sport but has not so far materially affected the standing of the leading stables although Naushons success In the colts half of the Matron Stakes has greatly in ¬ creased R T Wilson Jrs stable
