THIRTY LEADING MONEYWINNING OWNERS OF 1910 It is a noticeable feature this year that of all our leading stables only the horses belonging to James U Keene have lieen sent Into winter quarters The others are adding to the high quality of racing at Louisville and Baltimore and industriously contending for a share of the money yet to be Won in stakes and purses This conduces to the welfare of the sport but has not so far materially affected the standing of the leading stables although Naushons success In the colts half of the Matron Stakes has greatly in ¬ creased R T Wilson Jrs stable earnings over bis figures for 190 Bashtls victory in the fillies half of the same event has given H P Whitney a place in the list of thirty leading owners that list belli now as follows Won in Leading next and he will stand in France for the season 1912 1912Considerable Considerable disappointment must be felt among sportsmen in Germany at the result of the Buda Pesth Leger which returns the Graditz horse Orient as beaten by Rascal whose success wat foretold by the lietting which assigned the honor of favoritism to the Austrian Derby winner Orient is considered the best threeyearold in Germany and R Day who went with him to JJtidaPesth had done his level best to secure success for the fiscal stable It was thought that the Oradltz horee was much better than when he ran In the Austrian Derby and was easily defeated and hopes ran high that he would turn the tables on Rascal T Ball who trains the latter was confident of success and C Planner who had lev Wind under his care expressed his opinion that his horse would be hard to beat not ¬ withstanding the presence of Ksiazc Pan the winner of the Grand Prize of Baden The battle of the Titans resulted in the victory of Rascal the excel ¬ lent son of Raeburuand Kikelet running In the colors of his owner Count L Telcki and ridden by Jauek who finished his tuition under the auspices of that excellent master W Waugh when he pre sided over the establishment of the late Sir Blundell Maple at Newmarket NewmarketRevision Revision of statistics has resulted In the discovery that Lembergs earnings this year had been placed at too high an aggregate The result is a slight reduc ¬ tion in the total heretofore credited to Mr Fairie However the correction does not materially affect Mr Fairies safe leadership and the totals credited to those owners whose horses have won 10000 or more are Wing Races Amount AmountHorses Owner I IMr Horses Won Won Mr Fairie 4 11 150027 Lord Derby 17 31 103225 Lord Rosebery 8 11 64837
