DECISION SOUGHT ON FINE POINT Lexington Ky November 5 Thomas P Hayes will ask the Kentucky State Racing Commission at its next meeting to determine whether he or Thomas Hatfield is entitled to the services of George Wing field Jr who Is regarded by both Messrs Hay and Hatfield as the making of a good race rider The father of the boy is George Wingfield who has served in various capacities on the race tracks of the west for many years while his mother is n sister of Tommy Brown of Latonia Mr Hayes took the boy into his employ last winter at a time when his parents hail separated but he had the con sent of both the father and mother and an under ¬ standing with both that he was to have a contract with which ever one of them should be declared the letral guardian of the l oy The oyThe boy remained with Mr Hayes five months during which time he became very much tti ii iii i to the little fellow sent him to Mhort w groom or nttendai of each month Mr Ha ceptional one and liavln a precedent he will as jinake a decision
