JACKSONVILLE OFFICIALS ANNOUNCED Jacksonville Fia November Manager IT D Brown upon his return from New York yesterday announced his list of officials for the meeting this winter at Moncreif Park A more representative corps could hardly have been chosen The horsemen will be well represented in the stewards stand the east by W 1 Burch while the west will havi W F Schulte as its representative T C Mc ¬ Dowell will be the steward to represent the associ fttion Joseph A Murphy will be the presiding judge with P A Brady as his associate The clerk of the course scales and entry clerk will l e Joseph McLennan The paddock judges will be Dr Kcough and Harry White while James Milton will be one of the patrol judges A B Dade will do the starting W O B Worley will be the auditor and Manager Browns assistant assistantMr Mr Brown says that S O Ilildrotb Will ship af least a dozen horses to Jacksonville this season There are now 40O horses at the course and several carloads are looked for by the end of the week This promises to l e one of tht most successful winter meetings that have ever been held heldJ J P Mayherry has arrived at Moncreif Park with the horses of Miss A M Marrone including St Joseph Grenida Paiitoutle and Frank Purcell PurcellC C J Odells string consisting of Pulka Eagle Bird BaltimoreFlorimel and Double Five have arrived from Baltimore Florimel and Mary Bell constitute the string oC Julius Bauer J J McCafferty brought Shawnee Heart Pang Madeline L and Tubal here Other recent arrivals include S F Hyman with German Silver Jolly Jennie Wells and Escliau James Jen ¬ kins with Skein the Newport Stable with Luzerne and Cherry Valley H Bowen with Universe and Castlewood and F Bector with Andy Glitter GlitterThe The string that William Shields brought here from Kentucky included among others Spindle Limpet Smoker Jane Swift Starover Alfred the Great Colonel Ashmeade and Good News Mr Shields yearlingsJ also has six goodlooking yearlings J II Ilynes is here from Saratoga Springs with two horses horsesEverything Everything is being placed in proper order at Hie track and when the plant is opened to the public on the afternoon of Thanksgiving Day last years patrons will notice many improvements that will add to the beauty of the establishment
