MEETING FOR SANTA ANITA From Los Angeles comes the report that at a meeting of the directors of the Los Angeles Racing Association held Saturday night it was de ¬ cided to apply to the Pacific Jockey Club for dates for a sixtydays meeting at Santa Anita Park be ¬ ginning in January The meeting is said to have been attended by George Rose H A Uiiruh F G Randle and John Brink the absentees being J L Holland A W Hamilton and Barney Schreiber It Is understood that President T H Williams of the Pacific Jockey Club is opposed to the reopening of Santa Anita this season on nccouut of the peculiar conditions prevailing in California
