SARATOGA ASSOCIATION PLANS FOR 1911 New York November 22 The directors of the Saratoga Association for the Improvement of thi Breed of Horses have abundant faitli in the future of racing in this state ami are planning big tilings for 1911 They have decided upon an outlay of money next season proportionate with that of this year and a quarter of a million dollars will be offered to horsemen in stakes An official of the association sayingThe is quoted as saying The question of racing days next year has not been touched upon except tentatively Everything in that line depends entirely upon the stewards of the Jockey Club who alone have the power to desig ¬ nate the dates and number of days a racing meeting will have in this state Under the racing laws of this state no one track can hold more than forty days of racing over it Of course Saratoga would be willing to accept the limit of days if they were handed out to it But as there are other racing associations under the jurisdiction of the Jockey Club their claims must be considered It is certain however that there will be at least twentyfour days of racing at Saratoga with a probability that the meeting may consume thirty actual days of racing
