The Folly Handicap resulted in a victory for Likely Dleudonne largely because jockey Archibald outfinished McCarthy on Roy Junior. Pay Streak and Italeigh 1". D. were most fancied for the race, but failed to cut much figure. Frauciue was plunged on in the two-year-old dash and won in a romp. Twickenham proved a, surjiri.se by beating Doncaster in the third. Sir John won the fifth from the weakly-ridden Venta Strome. Archibald came into the limelight by riding three winners. Richard Dwyer presided at the barrier and will send the fields away for three days. Jake Holtman will start the remaining five days of the meeting.
