RUBY KNIGHT moved up gamely on the outside after entering the homestretch and was bumped by INDORA at the furlong post, hut recovered quickly and, coming again, would have won in another stride. INDORA ran well and was in closest early pursuit, but tired in the last furlong. THE MINKS finished gamely. FRENCH GIRL was prominent to the stretch, but tired finally. SAM MATTHEWS ran poorly. AAHITE AVOOL ran forwardly lind gamely throughout, but tired and just lasted long enough to save third place from ALDRIAN. The latter closed a big gap and fiuished witli a good burst of speed.
