INTER-MOUNTAIN DATES NOT SETTLED. San -Fraucisco.-Cal.. March 3. Martin Nathanson, programmer and handleapppr for the Xew California Jockey Club, will leave within a few days for his home in Chicago, where he will remain until shortly before racing commences in Montana. Mr. Nathan-son said yesterday that it had not been definitely settled when the Butte meeting would open. Dates have not been applied for aud the situation depends upon Salt Lake City and Denver to a great extent. Last season racing began at Butte in July. .Many horsemen are waiting at Oakland to ascertain what meetings will be held on the tracks of the intcr-inountaiu circuit before shipping their horses.
