BIG ENTRY LIST FOR LATONIA STAKES. Nominations Made With Great Liberality by Eastern Horsemen as Well as Westerners. Cincinnati. O., March !. The Latonia stakes, which closed on Wednesday, promise much in a racing wav. The nominations have been exceedingly liberal. It is estimated that the grand total for the eight events will exceed WO, an average of about eighty. The entries received at the Latonia otlice total :174. Juarez and California nominations an; still in the mails, and General Manager John Hachmeister is coming with a big bunch from Jacksonville and Tampa Easterners are fairly well represented thus far. entries having come from H. 15. Duryea. R. H. McCartcr Potter, Capt. K. 15. Cassatt. Iieverwyck Stable and R. F. Carman. California is represented bv A. P.. Spreekcls. W. II. Christie. O. A. Bianchi aiid J. McManus. The heaviest nominator thus far is R. F. Carman with twenty-three. Next comes F. J. Pons with twenty-one. and J. X.
