CAPTAIN CASSATT TO GIVE MEETING. New York, Marcli 25. The Hunts Committee of the United Hunts has granted to Capt. E. B. Cas-satt permission to conduct a steeplechase meeting at his Chesterbrook Farm in Pennsylvania September 23. Captain Cassatt. who is building up a line breeding establishment at Chesterbrook. has ready for campaigning under the management of Simon Ileal v some fifteen thoroughbreds. One of the best of the lot is the Ben Brush Ally. Heatherbroom. a half-sister to Maskette, the Futurity winner of 190S, which he purchased last summer at Saratoga at the weeding out sale of James R. Kecnes establishment. Heatherbroom lias wintered so satisfactorily that Captain Cassatt is conlident she will make a useful three-year-old. There are one or two other horses of mature age in trainer Healys care, but the Cassatt establishment is made lip principally of home-bred two-year-olds, sons and daughters of the Ayrshire stallion. Aeronaut, and the Hanover stallion. Dolce Far Niente. Trainer Healy returned to Chesterbrook from California about three weeks ago and took up these horses and they are going along satisfactorily. The: youngsters will be ready for the Norfolk races.
