JUDGE WALTON was outrun to tbe first turn, but soon took the lead and showed the most speed all the remainder of tbe way, but was driving through the last sixteenth to outstay. ROBERT BRUCE. The latter ran well all the way and. finishing fast, was wearing tbe leader down at the end. ROSEBURG II. was a forward contender from the start, but tired in the final drive. LIGHTHOUSE closed a big gap and finished with a rush. BOB CO also made up much ground. ST. JOSEPH and HEINE showed speed, but quit in the stretch. GOLD MINE began slowly and worked her way up steadily on the outside, but came wide when entering the homestretch and failed to get up in a game finish. DUVAL was outpaced in the early running, but finished with his usual rush. JOE KNIGHT, probably best, was pulled up at the start and finished with great speed into a close up fourth. AMERICAN GIRL set the pace to the stretch and tired unexpectedly in the final drive. AV.ORKING LAD finished well. NEAV HAAEN showed speed, but failed to stay. rTrQ FIFTH RACE 1 1-16 Miles. DANFIELD set a fast pace, for, five I furlongs and tired in the final drive. CAMEL finished fast and close up and so did EMlGY LEE. TOISON DOR ran a fast half and quit as if short.
